Asha is a non-collapsing orchestration intelligence for complex work. Rather than forcing every task through one default path, Asha evaluates multiple possible routes under constraints such as time, cost, evidence, memory, uncertainty, and risk. It may choose to act, abstain, or escalate—and records why.
Asha is designed to help complex systems remain understandable, observable, and accountable without sacrificing flexibility, creativity, or human direction.
Current Evidence Domains
Compression is Asha’s current evidence domain. It provides a measurable environment for testing route selection, bounded cost, abstention, memory governance, validation, and audit receipts. The claim is not that Asha replaces compression tools. The claim is that Asha is designed to make more accountable decisions over tools that do not decide for themselves.
Asha Bench Buddy is Asha’s local-first coordination environment for human-and-AI workflows. It explores routing among local knowledge, tools, models, safeguards, memory, and human judgment.
Together, these systems test the same larger question: What should act, under what constraints, with what evidence, at what cost, and with what receipt?
Asha is an active research project, not a finished product or a replacement for human judgment.
